Who we are.
Uptown Noire is an Algerian label for oversized everyday clothing, launched in 2022. We are responsible for the data you give us through this site, by phone, or on WhatsApp.

What we collect.
We collect as little as possible. Every field here has a job in fulfilling the order.

We do not collect date of birth, national ID, or any sensitive data.
Why we collect it.
For a short list of reasons, no more:
- Fulfil the order. Without a name, phone, and address we cannot deliver.
- Confirm the order. We call you before we ship.
- Keep sales records. As our accounting and tax obligations require.
- Protect the shop. Spotting fake orders and abuse.
- Newsletter. Only if you signed up, and you can unsubscribe whenever you like.
If you want to object to any of these uses, write to us and we'll explain your options.
How long we keep it.
We keep data only as long as it is needed, then we delete it.

Your rights.
You have the right to see your data, correct it, ask us to delete it, and object to its use for marketing. Write to [add contact email] and we'll reply as soon as we can.
- Access. A copy of the data we hold on you.
- Correction. Fix anything that is wrong.
- Deletion. Erase your data, except what we must keep in sales records.
- Objection. Refuse the use of your data for marketing.
- Withdraw consent. Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
We don't ask for an ID copy. Your order number and your phone number are enough to verify you.
Cookies we use.
We use the cookies needed to run the site, plus analytics cookies if we enable them.

How we protect it.
The connection to the site is encrypted, and access to data is limited to the people who need it to work. We don't store card details.
No system is completely safe. If something happens that affects your data, we tell you what happened and what to do.
Children's data.
The shop isn't aimed at children and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you think we hold a child's data, write to us and we'll delete it.
When this changes.
We may update this policy. The new version is published on this page, and the last-updated date at the top changes.
And if a change is significant, we flag it clearly.
