The agreement.
These terms form an agreement between you and Uptown Noire, an Algerian label for oversized everyday clothing, launched in 2022. Placing an order in our shop means you accept them.
The shop's legal details: Uptownoire. If one clause turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stand.
You must be legally able to buy. Orders from minors are cancelled and refunded.
Account & orders.
You don't need an account to buy. If you create one, you're responsible for the password and for everything done under it. Tell us if you suspect unauthorised access.
Order lifecycle
- Submission. Clicking Place order is a purchase request, not a final agreement.
- Confirmation call. We call to check the size, the address, and the delivery method. The order becomes final when you confirm.
- Right to decline. We may refuse an order: out of stock, or a suspected fake order. Anything pre-paid is refunded.
- Cancellation. You can cancel before the parcel is handed to the courier. After that it is treated as a return.
Pricing & payment.
Prices are shown in Algerian dinar. Shipping is calculated at checkout, by wilaya.

Price changes & errors
The price you see at checkout is the price that applies. If an obviously wrong price is published, we may cancel the affected orders and refund in full.
Shipping & delivery.
We deliver to every wilaya in Algeria. Dispatch and delivery times vary by wilaya and by courier. Risk passes to you when you take the parcel, so check it before you accept it.
Timings and rates per wilaya are in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms.
If you refuse a parcel without a reason, we may ask for pre-payment on future orders.
Returns & refunds.
Every piece has a return window: 48 hours from delivery. The conditions:
- Unworn, unwashed, with its original tag.
- In its original packaging.
- With the order number.

Non-returnable
- Final-sale pieces, labelled as such.
- Altered or custom pieces.
- Any piece that has been worn or washed.
Warranty & defects.
We check every piece before it ships. If a manufacturing fault appears after the return window, write to us: we look at the case and agree on a repair, a swap, or a refund. Warranty period: [add duration].
Not covered: normal wear, damage from the wrong care (read the wash label), and alterations done elsewhere.
How to claim
Photograph the fault, write to our email or instagram with the order number, and we arrange collection.
Intellectual property.
Everything in this shop, from the logo and the photography to the product descriptions, belongs to Uptown Noire or is used under licence. You may not copy or republish it without written permission.
The piece you buy is yours: wear it, photograph it, gift it, resell it second-hand. What you can't do is reproduce the design or sell copies under our name.
Your content
If you send us photos or tag us on social media, we may repost them with credit. Ask us to take them down at any time and we will.
Acceptable use.
Don't do the following. We may refuse service or close an account where needed.
- Place orders with no intention of paying or accepting delivery.
- Use someone else's payment details or identity.
- Scrape the site, run bots, or try to break the checkout.
- Resell pieces commercially without a written agreement.
- Abuse our team. Disagree politely, not abusively.
حدود Liability.
Our liability for any claim about an order is limited to the amount you paid on that order, shipping included. We're not liable for indirect damage.
And this section doesn't limit any liability that can't be excluded by law.
If we get it wrong, we fix it: refund, swap, or repair. What's outside our control isn't on us.
Force majeure.
Neither side is liable for a delay or a failure caused by something outside its control: natural disasters, strikes, courier-network outages, internet cuts, or official decisions.
And if it drags on, either side may cancel the affected orders, and anything pre-paid is refunded.
Governing law.
These terms are governed by Algerian law.
Dispute resolution

- Second, agree. We try to reach an amicable solution.
- Third, court. Failing that, the competent court in Algeria has jurisdiction.
And these terms don't affect any right the law gives you that can't be waived.
